Progress
General:
Year – Working on live briefs over the summer has help speed of work, but meant that he has maybe got to ideas too quickly, that don’t stand up so well. Attendance and attitude towards classes has been good this year, there has been an improvement.
UCAS – In progress.
Drinks Project:
Sketchbook development is an improvement on last year. Keep pushing it for textures and examples to draw from - packaging finishes etc. Anything you have get into your sketchbook. Breakfast milkshake – nice idea. Need to define the market, what the product is about and who it is aimed at. You have been pursuing one line of idea, so take this opportunity to diversify, as you can put artwork together quickly.

Design Awards / Industry Contacts Presentation:
ICP – was below standard and you need to address this following the feedback from that session.
Wythenshawe - You need a SMP based on the benefits and features of the client offering. This needs achieving ASAP. Volume of work is adequate.
Contextual Studies Unit 8:
Go back to the Briefing sheet for Unit 8 to establish the work required for this unit. Although you have made some progress this needs much more work.

Actions / Targets / Dates

Do the above for your drinks. – USP, Market and what your trying to communicate. – One Week.
